Launching a plotted development without an elevation render

A launch concept built on land, location and long-term value rather than a rendering nobody believes.

This is concept. It was self-initiated by Purple Ocean. No client commissioned it, no campaign was run, and there are therefore no performance figures to report. It is published so you can assess how we think about a problem before committing to work with us.

Context

Plotted developments are marketed almost identically across the category: an aerial render, an amenity list, and a starting price. Because the product is genuinely undifferentiated at that level of description, the category has trained buyers to compare on price alone.

The challenge

Create a launch identity and campaign structure for a premium plotted development that competes on conviction rather than on the lowest per-square-foot figure — and that can survive a decision cycle measured in months, not days.

The approach

  1. 01

Position the project around the buyer's ten-year thesis rather than the developer's amenity list

  2. 02

Build a project identity that can stand beside the developer brand without competing with it

  3. 03

Design a three-phase launch: familiarity, consideration, site visit

  4. 04

Replace the generic lead form with a qualification path that filters for genuine intent

  5. 05

Plan the nurture content that fills the gap between first enquiry and final decision
